Hypatia of Alexandria: Her Context and Her Legacy

Princeton Graduate Students are invited to submit abstracts for a two-day conference, organized under the auspices of Princeton’s Center for Late Antiquity. The conference will bring together international senior scholars with Princeton Graduate Students to explore the context and legacy of Hypatia of Alexandria (350-415AD), and the proceedings will be published. We welcome abstracts for papers offering new insights on the historical world of Hypatia, as well as with her legacy and reception across the range of cultural production.

Beyond Authority: Transmission and Tradition in Late Antiquity
